Matzoh Ball Soup

I woke up late, to a lazy, rainy Sunday. My first thought was that I have lots of dill in my fridge from yesterday’s bacchanal at the Farmer’s Market. What should result from all this? Well, if you’re a zany yet lovable shiksa like me, you make Matzoh Ball Soup from Vegan With A Vengeance. Thereby delightfully free of schmaltz, referring only, of course, to rendered chicken fat…rest assured that a lot of maudlin elevator music made its way into these nuggets of heaven. That’s grated carrot and dill on top, by the way, to make it more colourful.
