Lemon Caper “Chicken”

I wanted to dress up a Gardein fake chicken breast, so in its pan juices post cooking I reduced some white wine, lemon juice, capers, rosemary, salt and pepper. Sauce! Plus kale. And brown rice.

  1. so this Gardein fake chicken breast has become a sort of staple hey? Is it that good, or do you have a “connection” funneling you the stuff on the cheap?

    Real question: should i buy one to try it out?

  2. Not so much a staple. When I made it a ton back in the summer it’s because I had invested in two boxes of eight frozen breasts. Last week on a whim I bought another box of eight.
    I don’t know if you’d like it or not, Drew. It’s extremely chicken-textured! Almost eerily so.
